Here are few easy steps to becoming a Church Hero!

STEP #1: Pray! All Heroes pray and know that the Holy Spirit has equipped you.

STEP #2: Speak to your Pastor or your church leadership about Life Sunday. Tell them what life Sunday is all about and why your church should celebrate it.  Share your Hero story of why you choose to support the life-affirming work of PreBorn! and why you give in honor of the preborn babies! In this step, you may use the email in your downloadable materials to send to your Pastor and Church Leadership. You can also download the Pastor Brochure that you can present to your Pastor and your Church Leadership.

STEP #3: Speak to your small group, family and friends about Life Sunday and help spread the word.

Step #4:  Follow up with your Pastors and Leaders.

STEP #5: If the Church is not ready to Host a Life Sunday this time, thank your Pastor  and Leaders for taking time to pray and think about celebrating Life Sunday! And continue to share your heart for the preborn babies with your small groups, friends and families!

STEP #6: Choose with your church what Heroic Act (below) you decide to commit to and when you want to celebrate Life Sunday.

STEP #7: It’s time for action! Once you and your church decide to participate in Life Sunday, see the action points and resources below

Heroic Act #1 : Place bulletin inserts in your church bulletin. You may download this bulletin from your materials below, they are print ready and good to go! You may print it at home, at your church or if you need help – we are here for you. Shoot us an email or give us a call.

Heroic Act #2 : Choose from one of the provided videos. Present the videos to your pastor and download the one you want to use during your service.

For Heroic Acts #4 through #8 and the Superheroic Act: Connect your pastor to PreBorn! and someone from our PreBorn! staff and leadership will give them a call.  You can do this by email or by phone.

STEP #8: You have done it, Hero! You have taken all the steps to help save preborn babies! Now it’s time to speak to a Preborn! representative and share what you and your church’s Heroic Act(s) will be, when you will hold a Life Sunday, and what tools you will need help with to make your Life Sunday event successful.

Thank you for exploring having a Life Sunday with your congregation. Life Sunday is a compassion-based, non-condemning, plug- and- play, set of resources, which staff or volunteers in your church can lead to positively impact the issue of abortion in the United States. These quality resources include slides, short video clips, inserts, sermons, and text-giving options.

Statistically, one out of every four families in evangelical congregations have been directly touched by the issue of abortion. Unresolved, these men and women often experience self-condemnation, depression, marital and anger issues, and a host of other manifestations from unresolved guilt and shame.

As Shepherds, we can offer a compassionate, non-condemning and positive response to the issue of abortion.  Taking a positive step to help another woman avoid the pain of abortion can be an easy first step to healing from this self-condemnation. Having a Life Sunday at your church can lead men and women to freely volunteer and fulfill their calling in the church.
